You should now have received your annual Choices "Benefits Enrolment" material for 2010, and if you are a participant in the Contributory Group Life Insurance Plan (CGLIP), an additional communication dealing with this item was also included. Note that 'participation in CGLIP' refers to both the original CGLIP options as well as the more recent Free Reduced Coverage option.

If you have NOT received your Choices "Benefits Enrolment" material for 2010, you should call the Hotline (1-866-307-7793) right away.

As in past years, the election window is brief with INVISTA indicating the enrolment opportunity will end on Friday, November 6, 2009. It is therefore very important that you deal with these items promptly.

With regard to CGLIP, the 'good news' is that premiums for 2010 have not changed from 2009. The 'not so good news' is that premiums will commence increasing in 2011 and continue to increase through 2015. In addition, plan experience will continue to be monitored to determine if further increases might be warranted during and beyond this period. You can study the detailed information supplied and draw your own conclusions.
