Maintaining contact with DIPAC's membership is a far more time-consuming effort than it needs to be. Each time we issue a general communication (Communiqué) more than a few regular Canada Post letters are returned as "address unknown" which indicates the person has moved ( and failed to inform DIPAC of the new address ) thus we no longer have a correct address. And with internet/email sent communications the "undeliverable" problem is even greater. Again because DIPAC is not informed when an email address is changed. A change of email address seems to be even more commonplace than a change of residence? Because DIPAC believes it important that efforts to contact members are both effective and efficient, we often spend hours of administrative time chasing member information as described above. You can help minimize this work-load problem ! Use this link to advise us of your new email address: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it If you change your residence address, please send that information as well. And if you know of a fellow retiree who is not internet active and has moved, please remind them of the importance of informing us of their postal address change. |
