eMail Campaign Update-8th Dec PDF Print E-mail

The 7th December meeting to review C-501 clause by clause lasted all of ten minutes with the next meeting scheduled for late February. The good news is this allows more time for you to participate in the eMail Campaign, and to visit/write your local MP if you so choose.

Perhaps a seasonal Christmas Card would be appropriate? What should it say.....?

I'm making a C-501 list; I'm checking it twice,

I'm making note of who's naughty (opposed) or nice (supportive).

Where do you think my present (my vote) will go?

Where it's been earned, IF you made the Bill law.

Participation in this eMail campaign to date has been encouraging and no doubt has registered a level of voter concern with the committee members targeted. Hopefully this will continue and provide even greater impact.

The majority of G-20 countries provide greater bankruptcy status to pension plan deficits than does Canada. Following is a link to a media report which clearly demonstrates the disparity in the consequences of pension deficits in Canada vs the US.

Two plants, the same company, on opposite sides of the Maine/New Brunswick border and bankruptcy proceedings take place. A disturbing story.......
