Via e-mail, where we have current addresses, we encouraged over 900 retirees to write their MPP requesting support for the prompt implementation of the recommendations submitted by Ontario Expert Commission on Pensions. Close to 200 individuals acted on this request and we thank them for their participation. When the Fall Session of the House commences, we are optimistic Premier McGuinty and his colleagues will move swiftly on this important upgrade to outdated legislation and regulations. |
