"Tis the Season to be Jolly"     but that's not easy for some folks!

If you are a Nortel pensioner, or in similar circumstances, you might be asked "What's in your wallet?" And your answer is that it's a lot less than you anticipated. Thanks to over-paid executives who mismanaged the company into bankruptcy. And Thanks to the federal government for failing to revise bankruptcy legislation to provide pension fund deficits with creditor status comparable to banks. The Nortel pension plan will deliver 35% less than the entitlement expected from all those years of deferred earnings, which were supposed to provide a worry-free retirement.
